Tender Beef Shoulder

Makes 5 portions, takes 8 hours

500 ml can Tomatoes

500 grams Beef Shoulder

1 Onion

3 Cloves of Garlic

2 Rosemary Twigs

1 tablespoon Oil

Add the oil to a pan and turn the heat to high. Season the beef with salt and pepper; after the pan and oil begin to lightly smoke, add the seasoned meat and begin to sear the beef. Turn the beef as soon as the side facing down has browned. Continue to turn the beef until all the sides have turned brown.

Cut the onion into quarters and layer them at the bottom of a crock pot. Sprinkle the garlic and rosemary on top. Add the beef on top of the onions and garlic, and pour the tomatoes on top. Turn the crock pot to low and let the beef cook for 8 hours.

Tip: you can add veggies to cook with the beef but don’t forget to take them out from the crock pot when they are cooked. If they stay the full 8 hours they will turn to mush.
