Free TD Market Bucks are back for the third year in a row!
There are eleven participating markets this year - located in Aberfoyle, Binbrook, Cambridge, Creemore, Collingwood, Erin, Newcastle, Orangeville, Uxbridge and Toronto - where customers can redeem each TD Market Buck for $5 worth of fresh fruits and veggies, meats, or other goods at their local farmers’ market.
With financial support from TD Bank, the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation and the Greenbelt Farmers’ Market Network have partnered to attract new customers to farmers’ markets, reward frequent shoppers and celebrate local food by giving away $42,000 in TD Market Bucks.
“We have always championed farmers’ markets as terrific hubs for buying fresh, local food and supporting farmers in our communities,” says Burkhard Mausberg, CEO Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation. “The Market Bucks program encourages folks who haven’t been to the market before to come and see firsthand the difference local makes.”
How to get TD Market Bucks? Contact the participating farmers’ markets! Each market is planning to distribute their Market Bucks in a different way so make sure to visit a participating market soon.
