Need ideas on how to spend your weekends in September? Attend festivals and events from across Ontario’s Greenbelt to take a bite and drink out of our local scene.

September 3: Moonlight Market in Collingwood - A special night time farmers’ market day for Collingwood Farmers’ Market!

September 10 to 25: Niagara Wine Festival in St. Catharines - Celebrate the 65th Niagara Wine Festival and experience wine and culinary experiences that truly showcases the best of Niagara!

September 12 to October 31: Pumpkins to Pastries Trail in Halton Region - This fall, connect with local food experiences throughout Halton Region and meet the people and places that produce and offer local food.

September 17: Uptown Keswick Harvest Festival in Keswick - Join the merchants of Uptown Keswick for a fall family fun day, including vendors market, BBQ’s and lots of activities for the kids!

September 17: Georgetown Craft Beer Festival in Georgetown - Sample beer and cider from 30 Ontario Craft Brewers, gourmet food, live music and fun games!

September 17: Georgina Pioneer Village Harvest Festival in Georgina - Celebrate the arrival of autumn with vintage farm equipment, food, crafts, artisans & vendors, historical demonstrations, live music and FREE hot apple cider!

September 17 to 18: St. George Applefest in Paris - Eat local apples and pies while taking part in activities that are fun for the whole family.

September 18: Carrot Fest at Everdale in Hillsburgh - Live music, U-pick carrots, farm tours, harvest games, a farm lunch, home alive tours, farm crafts….need we say more?

September 18: Second Annual Feast of Hops in Erin - Fine food and craft beer festival that includes gourmet food tastings form six Erin restaurants and six Ontario craft brewers.

September 18: 8th Annual Harvest Chili Cook-Off Celebration in Port Perry - Take in the sights, sounds and flavors of the harvest!

September 22: Durham College Harvest Dinner in Whitby - Harvest Dinner features fresh food grown and harvested by Durham College food and farming students, cooked by Durham College culinary and baking students, and served by Durham College hospitality and event planning students.

September 24: Fall Colours Tourism in the Blue Mountains - Enjoy the changing foliage as you whisk up Blue Mountain in Ontario’s only open air gondola and return to the Village Plaza to take in some live music in the Plaza.

September 24: Applefest at Markham Museum in Markham - Celebrate apples by taking a stroll through the heritage apple orchard, tasting cider, and participating in a variety of hand-on activities for kids of all ages.

September 24 to October 30: Springridge Farm’s Harvest Festival in Milton - Fun for the whole family with wagon ridges, ‘boo’ barns, puppet shows, giant corn trails and more!

September 25: Applefest Fall Fair in Burlington - Applefest Fall Fair celebrates autumn with activities for young and old.

Year Round: Apple Pie Trail in Blue Mountains - Love apples? This trail’s for you! With over 36 things to see and do - from choosing your favourite variety at the farmers’ market, to sampling apple-based culinary treats, to sipping on hard apple cider-you can sample the Greenbelt’s apple diversity in all its forms.
