Cobourg Farmers' Market

One of the oldest markets in Ontario, Cobourg's Farmers' Market was established in 1839 and offers locally grown and certified organic produce, crafts, flowers, plants, cheese, farm fresh meats, breads, pastries, and other delectables. The Market Building was designed in 1850 by Kivas Tully, and has ample windows retaining the original twelve over eight glass panes, pedimented pilasters and a traditional roof with wide overhanging eaves. Our farmers' market is still located around the building and our Christmas market takes place inside during November and December. The Cobourg Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday, May through December, from 8 am to 1 pm. You can now access this market online at https://www.localline.ca/cobourgfarmersmarket

Greenbeltfresh.ca helps consumers find local food grown in Ontario’s protected Greenbelt.

We aim to support and enhance the agricultural sector by increasing connections between consumers and Greenbelt farmers. We promote and market local farm businesses and farmers’ markets that sell direct to consumers.
