Woodbridge Village Farmers Market

Distance: km
We are in our 13th season and our eleventh year at this location. The market operates at the Woodbridge Pool and Memorial Arena parking lot on Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm, from June 12 until October 9, Thanksgiving. It was started to help support local growers and to bring community spirit to Woodbridge. There will be probably 15+ vendors most Saturdays. We are small but we have a big heart. Our Kids Club may be on hold this year because of Covid-19. The number of patrons has averaged about 600 each market day. We are a true farmers market with more than 50% real farmers. Our dedicated farmers are bringing a wide selection of locally grown produce, such as lettuce, swiss chard, kale, tomatoes, potatoes, beans, carrots, cucumbers, herbs, corn, fruits and berries, gourds, squash, melons, zucchinis and pumpkins. A honey farmer brings many honey related products too. Most of our other vendors are bringing food related products, such as artisan breads, scones, fruit pies, tarts, strudels, cookies, cured meats and artisan cheeses, meat pies, burritos, breakfast wraps, crepes and waffles. It is a not-for-profit market run by a committee of volunteers under the umbrella of the Woodbridge Agricultural Society which is celebrating over 170 years. We have the support of the Economic Development Department and the City Council of the City of Vaughan.
