Puddle Duck Farm

We are Merridy and Eben and together we own and run Puddleduck Farm. We have been on our farm since July 2012, it was both of our dreams to end up here and we continue to look forward to what the future holds. We began our business as Trees n Bees Maple & Honey Products a couple of years before we found our farm. It all started in the winter of 2009 when we were approached with the opportunity to run a local sugar bush just outside of Millbrook. That following spring we bought some honeybee hives and began learning our way around the business of beekeeping. We had many dreams and ideas of owning a farm and everything we could do once we were there. It took us 3 years of searching when we finally found the farm we knew we wanted to set roots at. The following spring we went about working up a garden and planted 10 000 glad bulbs to sell at market, along with some vegetables for ourselves. We have continued to grow the market garden end of our business and sell a variety of vegetables and herbs at market as well as introducing a CSA program in 2015.
