- Trinity
Bellwoods Farmers Market is located in the historic Trinity Bellwoods
Park that is the heart of this vibrant downtown neighbourhood. It was
formed, in 2007, as an initiative of the Farmers Market Committee of
the Friends of Trinity Bellwoods Park, and has the overwhelming support
of the surrounding community at large.
- Our mandate is to support
and promote organic, local and urban sustainable agriculture. To educate the community about the food they eat, the source from which it comes and how it is grown and/or prepared. To increase community access to
healthy, local organically grown produce, meats and dairy. The group of approximately 16 vendors includes farmers
bringing fresh Ontario produce direct from the farm, as well as purveyors of
other fine organic and sustainable goods.
- We encourage you to bring your own re-useable shopping bags.
