Evergreen has a mandate to develop the historic Don Valley Brick Works as a destination venue for Torontonians, preserving the unique geological, biological and historic nature of the site. Starting in the autumn of 2008 Evergreen will start developing the kiln buildings as a unique cultural and recreational centre.

The Evergreen Brick works site is unique in that it is easily accessible to farmers via the Don Valley Parkway, to chefs from the city via the Bayview extension and to market goers by pedestrian/bicycle paths from Rosedale, Moore Park, South Leaside and Riverdale.

There is a shuttle bus from the Broadview Subway Station and a T.T.C. bus from Davisville Station on Saturdays. Please see http://www.evergreen.ca/rethinkspace/ for details applying to The Evergreen Brick Works Market.
